Project: Web copy for e-commerce overhaul

Description: As a contract writer, I worked with the creative director to take findings from furniture shopping analytics information and apply that knowledge about users/products to overhaul product descriptions on Crate’s website. Our directive was to inject a new level of “sensory experience” into the rewritten copy—in combination with new photography and video with the goal of enhancing customers’ online shopping experience. This project resulted in increased web salesconversion by 44% in the quarter that followed. (Spring 2015.)
